The Omnipop Room is an immersive, color-saturated dome experience within the House of Hype park. Designed as one of the venue’s many vibrant, themed zones, it surrounds visitors in a world where color comes alive. House of Hype operates large-scale immersive parks in both the Dubai Mall and Riyadh, and the Omnipop Room stands out as one of its signature spaces for visual immersion and creative content creation.
OMNIPOP| Digital Memoria
Imagine stepping into a digital elevator that carries you through the eras of the internet. The journey begins in a world of digital “birth” ...a bubble-like, analog playground filled with childlike wonder, innocence, and untouched natural beauty. It’s a brief moment before technology reshapes everything. A chrome UFO dome descends, signaling the dawn of the digital age. From this point forward, the world changes. And there’s no going back...
Our team crafted this elevator ride as a progression through key moments in internet culture. We move from the early days of Microsoft and the first wave of online connectivity into a full vaporwave floor - an unapologetic love letter to the hyper-nostalgia of the 2000s. The final stop is the most chaotic: a collision of modern internet culture; overconsumption, endless engagement loops, NFTs, social media saturation, and the frenetic digital noise that defines the present day.
The entire experience was built in Cinema 4D, with Skybox integrated into our workflow to preview the dome environment as we developed the show.
